Ultrasonic Cleaning equipment for use in Defence & Weaponry
Ultrasonic cleaning is a fast and highly efficient way for cleaning complex components and instruments used in the defence sector. Ultrawave has supplied a range of ultrasonic cleaning systems to the Ministry Of Defence for cleaning a wide range of parts and components in vehicles and machinery. Our ultrasonic cleans are also used by the armed and police forces, as well as private companies for cleaning and servicing of weapons and munitions.

Gun users have cleaner, safer and more accurate firearms thanks to ultrasonic gun cleaning technology.
AGSONIC ultrasonic cleaners make firearm cleaning easy.
Law enforcement agencies, security firms, military bases, shooting ranges, gun restorers and gun shops all make firearm cleaning and maintenance a high priority. They know a clean gun is safer and more accurate. This used to require regular, tedious and time-consuming hand cleaning and scrubbing, sometimes resulting in unintentional removal of bluing from carbon steel gun barrels. More and more organizations are looking to ultrasonic technology, and are discovering that an AGSONIC ultrasonic gun cleaner is the safest, easiest, and most effective method of gun cleaning and restoration.
Using ultrasonic technology, cleaning is three times faster and reduces the frequency cleaning is required.
AGSONIC ’ ultrasonic gun cleaners quickly and thoroughly clean deep into the barrel and firing mechanism. Lubrication of the firing mechanisms is enhanced. AGSONIC ’ gentle, water-based solutions never remove bluing from gun barrels, and its rust protectant reaches even the hardest to reach crevices. An Ultrasonic Gun Cleaner makes a rust-protected gun easier and faster to achieve.
Units to meet a wide variety of size, power and space requirements
Quickly and effectively clean rust, unburned powder, carbon, lint, oil and dirt from steel and stainless steel gun parts
Maintain accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of firearms for longer periods
Rust inhibitor ensures hard to reach areas are protected
Labor and chemical disposal costs are reduced or eliminated
Ultrasonic Gun Cleaner is A Shooter’s Best Preferred Choice
The main reason to use ultrasonic handgun cleaners is that, the weapon attracts lots of moisture due to overtime usage and begins to deteriorate slowly. Cleaning its exterior as well as interior parts will help to restore it back in good stage making it smoother for shooting.
An ultrasonic weapon cleaner works with powerful high frequency sound waves and is obviously a great way to clean all your weapon parts. Even the place where the gun cleaning brush can not reach easily, can be easily cleared by ultrasonic process.
The cavitation inside the cleaning device makes use of the cleaning solution to brush up the stubborn dirt, carbon and oil residues completely. It also wipes off all the left traces of moisture which may be accumulated on the gun.

How to Specify Ultrasonic FrequencyUltrasonic frequency is produced by generator-powered transducers bonded to the bottom of the tank. They vibrate in kilohertz (kHz or thousands of cycles per second) above the hearing range, which is approximately 20 kHz.Most ultrasonic cleaners operate between 35 and 45 kHz. This frequency range is well suited to the vast majority of cleaning tasks. Sample prep is often accomplished with units operating at 37 kHz. An example of an ultrasonic unit especially designed for sample prep is microprocessor-controlled
Add Baskets to your Spec Sheet
Baskets support parts and sample containers in an ultrasonic cleaner.
They affect cleaning and sample processing efficiency and, importantly, protect tanks from damage. Baskets with insulated handles facilitate placing and removing parts being cleaned in hot liquid. They also keep parts, flasks and beakers off the tank bottom where they suppress vibration and lower cleaning effectiveness. In terms of tank life, keep in mind that the bottom of the tank is a vibrating membrane. Any solid item, particularly a metal part, can act as a drill while the ultrasound is operating. Over time this can wear a hole in the tank. That’s a good enough reason to use baskets.
Some baskets hang on the tank rim;
others are equipped with rubber coated feet positioned near the corners of the tank bottom where vibration is at a minimum.
