The Challenge

An injection molding plant running high-cavitation molds battled carbonized release agents, burnt plastic residue and grease in cavities, vents and ejector areas. Manual scrubbing with solvents was slow, uneven and risky — aggressive brushing nicked delicate cavity edges, and every extra mold-change minute cost output.

The Solution

An ACMESONIC large single-tank industrial Ultrasonic Cleaner, SUS304 tank, thermostatically controlled 60–80°C heating, 40 kHz ultrasonic cleaning. Mold inserts clean in heated cycles — cavitation reaches vents, ejector slots and deep cavities brushes can't, lifting residue without contacting the steel surface.
